The Bigger Picture

It is a goal of mine to offer wooden Flag workshops for Military Veterans across North Dakota and neighboring states.

What does a wooden flag workshop include?

Thanks to Arts For Vets in Grand Forks, ND I taught my first workshop. Local veterans were able to come to Arts For Vets and make their very own wooden flag.

How Does it Work?

I pre-cut all the wood pieces and supply all needed materials.
Members of the class stain their pieces of wood, carve out stars, help with the assembly and varnish the finished piece.

How long does it take?

In order to completely finish a flag the workshop can either be split up into two classes each around three hours long or it can be done in a five to six hour workshop.
